The Lebanese Hospital Geitaoui-UMC in Beirut has an opening for the position of:
Nursing Supervisor
Basic Functions
Elaborate and verify the daily staffing of nurses across all departments
Respond to problems and needs reported from all nursing departments and solve them in coordination with the nursing director, and collaborates when needed with other non-nursing departments
Collaborate with other non-nursing departments
Audit regularly during his rounds the conformity of nursing processes related to patient care relative to procedures
Coordinate with the admissions department to ensure bed resservations and efficient and fluid patient flow, in particular from the Emergency Department towards the floors
Participate as part of the Code Blue and Rapid Response teams to the emergency response to patient deterioration, as per defined procedures
Display passion and optimism; inspire respect and trust; and provide vision and inspiration to peers and subordinates
Maintain a healthy, collaborative team environment
Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization
Job Requirements
Master of Science in Nursing preferred
10+ years’ nursing experience, including managerial position
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with high problem solving ability and good autonomy
Able to work efficiently under time constraints and pressure
Flexibility for PM and 12h shifts, including weekends
Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with a large team
Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
High level computer literacy
Strong command of Arabic, French and English
