The Patient Safety Curriculum has been successfully completed at LHG-UMC for the first semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.
This initiative reflects a strong culture of patient safety, actively implemented by the Quality & Development Department and embedded in the educational program of the medical students at LHG-UMC.
Now in its third consecutive year, the curriculum continues to grow, by becoming a multidisciplinary program with participants from the nursing, diagnostic and pharmacy workforce, in addition to our medical students.
With five excellent end-of-year Patient Safety projects presented this semester, our students and participants showed how strengthening patient safety necessitates all partners in care to work together towards one goal: safe and optimal patient outcomes. A milestone worth celebrating—and a culture worth sustaining.
